NOTICE: WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.

Miscellaneous Policies Related to Public Photocopying and Printing:
Mission College Library charges 15 cents per page for public computer printing and self-service photocopies. Library users are encouraged to preview print jobs whenever possible to prevent unwanted printing. The Library recycles unclaimed print jobs.
The library cannot make change for $20 and larger bill denominations.
Cash refunds will be immediately issued to users who have reported that they lost money in a photocopier or microform printer. All cash-back transactions, including name, official photo identification number, staff initials, and amount refunded, will be recorded in a confidential accounts payable ledger.
Research and academic-related printing/copying has first priority.
Assistance may be requested at either the Check Out Desk or the Information Desk. Immediately upon request of a disabled library user, the library will provide photocopying assistance to persons with disabilities. Immediate assistance will include the complete photocopying of print materials up to 10 pages as requested by the disabled library user. Disabled persons will wait their turn in line at service points. Standard photocopying fees will apply. Photocopying accommodation in excess of 10 pages at once will require pre-arrangement with library staff.
