Faculty and Staff Obligations

Faculty and classified staff are responsible for any District-owned audiovisual or printed material or other District property checked out to them. Faculty and classified staff are responsible for the damage or loss of materials borrowed from an outside organization or library that is not District property but has been obtained via intracampus loan for the use of the District employee. For each item lost or damaged, the faculty or classified staff member will be notified in writing of the amount due and required to be paid for replacement or repair costs. Lost or damaged materials borrowed by faculty or classified staff via an interlibrary loan program are subject to fines and fees as imposed by the loaning library or consortia.
