Page history last edited by Tim Karas 2 yrs ago
Any person may enter the Library building and use all public areas including study tables and carrels, restrooms, open collections, lounge and reading areas, as set forth below, unless otherwise restricted (see Right to Refuse Access or Service, above).   All Library users are prohibited from using or dispensing controlled substances (including alcohol, drugs, etc.); illegal possession, display or use of firearms, soliciting, smoking and other acts forbidden by College District Policy or law.

Access to Library staff areas requires: 1. Referral to the Library Offices entrance and clearance by the Library Administrative Assistant or Library Director , or 2. Referral to a Reference or other Librarian when the Library Offices door is locked or when the Library Administrative Assistant or Library Director is not present, or 3. Accompaniment by a permanent, full-time library staff member.

Persons affiliated with Mission College, West Valley College, or the District have first priority for service, use of facilities and equipment.
